It was an exciting weekend for Lotus & Proton because Heidfield end-up at 8th position despite Petrov crashed. The team still managed to get points for this race. The crash occurred when Petrov already at 4th position, lap 68. He is reportedly has no broken injury.
Defending drivers' world champion, Sebastian Vettelclaimed his first victory at Monaco, while Fernando Alonso from Ferrari team finished second. Monaco GP was filled with incident and dramatic race.

It raised a question which is, "should the safety regulation need to be strengthen to prevent more crash to happen?" Current technology in F1 has allowed manufacturers to built faster, better R&H and so on, but the limitation of human capability inside Monaco track affected the race.
