Today, Datuk Seri Hishamuddin bin Tun Hussein, our Minister of Home Affairs has officiated the hand-over ceremony of 3 units MPVs from Naza Quest to PDRM. It is specially modelled to suit the image of PDRM Mobile Police Vehicle (MPV) which need to be agile, fast and strong for especially for hot-pursuit.

As for the record, Captiva now comes with additional features which again bring it up a level or two – ESP (Electronic Stability Program) works with TCS (Traction Control System) to help keep drivers on the road in poor conditions. For steep slopes, HDCS (Hill Descent Control System) comes into play. The most useful aid for ladies would be the HAS (Hill Start Assist) which holds the vehicle for 1.5 seconds, giving time for the driver to reach the accelerator pedal after releasing the footbrake to restart whilst stopped on a slope. HBA (Hydraulic Brake Assist) detects applied brake force during emergency braking and responds by increasing braking pressure. Under the hood is 2.4 litre DOHC 162ps engine.

Additionally, in June this year, at the General Police and Special Equipment Exhibition and Conference (2011 GPEC) at the Putrajaya International Convention Centre (PICC), it has been reported over the news that Naza already agreed to hand over the 3 units of MPV. However, the model revealed today looks much better and specialized for PDRM.
Also in June this year, PDRM has received 10 units of Inspira MPV from Proton. It seems like our national auto-makers is contributing the best products from their line-up to assist government in ensuring the safety of the peoples.
Good jobs by our Minister of Home Affairs and Dato SM Faisal, Naza Group Executive Chairman!
